Stockton Collegiate International Schools The mission of Stockton Collegiate International Schools is to offer the rigorous, relevant, and practical International Baccalaureate to students grades K-12 in order to prepare them for post secondary education and global citizenship. Stockton Collegiate International Schools enable students to become literate, self-motivated, critical thinkers by providing a multi-cultural, student-centered environment. Minimum Qualifications • A bachelor’s degree. • Appropriate current/valid California Teaching Credential. • Successful background clearance from the California Department of Justice and the FBI. • Tuberculosis clearance. • Ability to use and operate office equipment, including computers, printers, copy machines, telephones, etc. • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional capacity. • Knowledge of the rules and regulations governing charter schools. Physical Requirements • Standing for long periods of time. • Sitting frequently. • Speaking for long periods of time. • Walking multiple city blocks. • Using stairs in multi-story buildings. • Lifting and carrying, kneeling, squatting, and twisting occasionally. Environment • Includes uneven surfaces, noise, and a quick work pace. • Regularly requires that the incumbent work effectively under stressful situations and respond to the unpredictable behaviors of students. • Frequently involves use of computer and tablet screens. • Occasionally involves working outdoors and exposure to inclement weather. • May regularly involve exposure to traffic congestion. • May rarely involve exposure to biohazardous waste.
