The Hart-Ransom Union School District is located in an agricultural community just west of Highway 99 in Modesto, CA. The district is made up of a TK-8 elementary school that serves 715 students and a TK-12 charter school that serves 595 students. The Hart-Ransom District has 100 employees, and is one of the highest-paying school districts in Stanislaus County. Job Summary

Job Summary

Serves as band director and instructor for students in grades 4-8 in the after-school band program. Possesses skill and expertise in playing and directing instrumental music. Able to effectively teach students at various levels of readiness how to play musical instruments in a group setting and how to perform music in front of an audience. Able to help students grow and improve in their musical knowledge and skills.

*Knowledge, expertise, and accomplishments in the field of instrumental music sufficient to lead and direct an elementary school band of students in grades 4-8 *Ability to build good relationships with students in grades 4-8 *Desire to make a positive difference in the lives of students through music *Successful experience working with school-aged children desirable Music teaching credential valued, but not required
