Job Summary
Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified teacher to support our students at our Rio Valley Charter- Sacramento Resource Center in Oak Park (6th-12th grade). This is an in person position Monday-Friday. This position will hold a caseload of 28 students and will meet with students in person onsite.
Requirements / Qualifications
Possess and maintain valid California Teaching Credential for level of instruction English Learner authorization Experience and knowledge of the Common Core standards and standards based curriculum, behavior management techniques, record keeping, student assessment, planning for individual student learning needs, and child development
Letter of Introduction Resume Letters of Recommendation (3) Transcripts (unofficial acceptable) TB Clearance (upon hire)

Additionally, the candidate will seek ways to explore each students academic and career goals in creative ways that connect students to their community at large. Candidates must also demonstrate flexibility, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit and be able to deliver differentiated instruction to a diverse group of students.
Pacific Charter Institute offers a unique instructional model serving homeschool and independent study students across 16 counties through Heritage Peak Charter School, Rio Valley Charter School, Valley View Charter Prep, Sutter Peak Charter Academy, New Pacific Charter.
