ESY runs 6/16 - 7/11 with 6/19 and 7/4 Holidays off Times: 8am - 1pm Monday through Friday Sites: PK - 5th grades at Mary Peacock, 6th - 12th grades at DNHS and 12+ at Transition
Requirements / Qualifications
Open to current employees only who hold valid credentials in the appropriate authorization. Deadline to apply is March 31st. Open positions will be filled by applications receive by the deadline. The Department will follow up with you to discuss your grade preference and to ensure the best fit for both you and the program. Employees accepting summer school assignments are expected to be present for each day of summer school. Those who have vacation plans that would require an absence of more than three days in the course of the summer assignment shall not be selected for summer school assignments ahead of employees who are able and willing to work the entire duration of the assignment.
27.2 SUMMER VACATION NOTIFICATION 27.2.1 Posting during the summer vacation will be on Ed Join for at least five (5) working days prior to filling. Emergency posting during the two (2) weeks prior to the opening of school, or at other times mutually agreed upon by the Superintendent and the Association President, will be on EdJoin for at least two (2) working days prior to filling a position. Postings shall be on the HR job board and shall be done via a district-wide email notice.
