Stockton Unified School District (SUSD) began providing services to students in 1852 and is located in the heart of California’s Central Valley near the banks of the San Joaquin River. SUSD is the 17th largest school district in California, whereby 38,000 PK-12th grade students come to us to experience an academic journey that leads to high school graduation and success in college, careers, and as actively-engaged community members. The District also serves a number of adults through our Stockton School For Adults. The Specialist is under the direct supervision of the Administrator of Instructional Technology. The Specialist will provide technical and instructional support and expertise to school site staff in the use of instructional technology.
Requirements / Qualifications
A valid California Multiple or Single Subject Credential; three (3) or more years teaching in an educational environment utilizing computer and other instructional technologies, as an instructional tool integrated into curriculum subject areas. Knowledge of and experience using information technologies including Internet applications, databases and webpage publishing tools. Familiarity with curriculum and technology standards; district, state and national. Experience in the use of maintaining, troubleshooting, and configuring of instructional technology. * Cover letter that addresses your interest in the position * Current Resume * 3 letters of recommendation * Copy of credential(s) * Copy of transcripts (unofficial are okay for this step in the process, but official transcripts will be required upon hire)
