Located in North San Diego County, Escondido Union School District is home to 24 school- 17 elementary schools, 1 intermediate school, 1 specialty school, and 5 middle schools- and is a provider of the California State Preschool Program. Requirements / Qualifications

These positions are made available for current EUSD employees only. Current substitutes will be eligible for selection AFTER priorities a-c are met. Merit Rule 6.200.6 Appointment to summer school, extended school year and intersession positions shall be made in this priority: a) Employees who have worked in the classification, have successfully met the expectations of the class, and maintained necessary licenses or other requirements of the assignment. b) Qualified employees working in other related classifications and successfully met the expectations of those classes, and maintained necessary licenses or other requirements of the assignment. c) Qualified employees working in non-related classifications but who meet the minimum requirements of the classification for the assignment so as to provide evidence of ability to perform in such assignment. d) Qualified persons not currently employed by the District in a regular-status position but meet the requirements of the classification for the assignment. e) Qualified persons not currently employed by the District but meet the requirements of the classification for the assignment.

June 23 - July 18, 2025, 4.5 hrs/day, 8:15 AM to 12:45 PM (Monday - Friday; No School July 4th Holiday) *Prep Day: Friday, June 20, 2025, 8:00am-3:00pm (6hpd) *Will likely split these days with your home site to finish out your work calendar **LOCATION: North Broadway Note: This site will be hosting special education students. Start and end times differ from other sites/ programs. Student times are 8:30 am - 12:30 pm * Days that overlap with your current calendar may be split between your home site/ summer site (if different). This will not result in extra pay unless additional hours are worked, however, travel/ mileage will be paid.
