Job Summary
The Lawndale Elementary School District is seeking to fulfill the position of Director of Budgeting and Accounting. This is a management position, 8 hours/day that accumulates one paid sick day per month of employment and 20 vacation days. In addition, LESD pays 100% for employee only health/welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc). Dependent coverage is at a cost to the employee. This position is scheduled to start July 1, 2025. Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum requirements include: - Possession of a valid California Drivers’ License. - Graduation from college or university with major in accounting or business administration including courses in advance accounting, auditing, cost accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Competency in budgeting and accounting as demonstrated by past successful experience; performance in leadership capacity in professional organizations.
