The mission will be accomplished through quality, personalized, standards-based education, which could include online coursework, offline textbook work, and unique hands-on and experiential learning experiences. Specialized Academic Instructor - Mild/Moderate: Under the direction of the Director of Special Education and Student Support Services, the employee will be required to support Heartland Charter School Students in a capacity of primarily providing case management and Specialized Academic Instruction (SAI) services. In order to respond to the individual needs and abilities of students, the SPED Teacher serves as a member of the Heartland Charter School Special Education and Support Team and will be expected to collaborate and consult with all Heartland staff.
