
Counselor, High School Equity & Targeted Student Achievement (ETSA) at San Bernardino City Unified
Requirements / Qualifications
1. Must possess a valid California Pupil Personnel Services-School Counseling Credential. 2. Ability to build positive relationships with identified student groups. 3. Strong case management skills. 4. Ability to communicate effectively with site principals, counselors, teachers, office staff, District/ETSA staff, parents, and community partners. 5. Ability to facilitate a wide range of District, school, local government, local business, and community services. 6. Strong knowledge of Aeries, Illuminate, and other data systems. 7. Strong ability to use spreadsheets for data analysis. 8. Ability to create graphs for data display and presentation.
1. 5 years of High school counseling experience. 2. History of positive relationships with students. 3. Knowledge of social emotional learning, childhood trauma, and wellness. 4. Ability to work well with people and to communicate effectively. 5. Knowledge of the San Bernardino community (e.g., residential l areas, churches, parent meeting spaces, local businesses, grassroots organizations).
