Requirements / Qualifications
Required Education and/or Experience: 1. High School Diploma or the equivalent 2. Associate’s Degree in education, arts, or related field a plus. 3. Two (2) years of experience working within a classroom setting 4. Experience facilitating learning in a small group, one-on-one, or classroom setting, particularly in areas such as art, music, or dance, is highly desirable. 5. Pass a local assessment of reading, math, and instruction skills. 6. Demonstrated experience working with students of various learning abilities, including those who may exhibit behavior challenges, and a commitment to creating a positive, supportive learning environment. Bilingual preferred.

Comments and Other Information
The Exploratory Arts Guide is responsible for guiding and supporting enrichment classes / workshops for students using a variety of hands-on engaging lessons to develop skills in art and or music. The ideal candidate will provide one-hour blocks to students, grades K-8, alongside a credentialed teacher, and provide hands-on learning activities (such as music, performing arts, visual arts) project-based theme lessons.
Most Exploratory Arts Guides will work at least three days per week at one site but may have the option to work more days depending on the school schedule and county needs with a willingness to travel between schools for additional days. See job description for full description of responsibilities.

* Position is funded by Prop 28 Art & Music funds and reviewed annually.
* Upon hire may need to provide supporting Education documentation (College units, AA or higher Degree, certificate copy) if required by position or claimed on application.
* Springs Charter Schools adheres to all California Department of Public Health mandates to ensure in-person instruction at campuses and administrative operations are conducted in a safe manner consistent with state and local public health guidance.
