Job Summary
The Mild/Moderate Special Education Teacher has the specific responsibility to plan and implement a learning environment which meets the unique needs of our special education students in an Independent Study virtual setting; will instruct special education students in accordance with established policies and procedures; develop and implement IEP goals, and assess students, assign duties to classified personnel, oversee the classified staff's interaction with students, provide input to the Administration concerning the performance of students assigned to their classroom or program, and perform other duties as required by law.
Requirements / Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications: Must hold a baccalaureate degree (BA/BS) from an accredited school. Valid California State Credential for Special Education, Mild to Moderate, with appropriate authorization. Possess a CLAD or BCLAD authorization. Possess Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) Authorization This is a fully remote position where you will primarily work from your home office. Must reside in California. Please note we are unable to accept intern credentials for this position.
