Job Summary
•Assists certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups. •Assist students in completing classroom assignments. •Observe and assist in controlling the behavior of students in the classroom. •Assist students with personal hygiene. •Provides classroom support by setting up work areas. •Operates a variety of office and classroom equipment. •Adjunct duties as applied.
Requirements / Qualifications
Application Valid Firs Aid/CPR within the probationary period Valid Driver License and Evidence of Insurability Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification Professional Assault Response (PART) FBI/DOJ clearance TB skin test clearance
Any Combination equivalent to: graduation from secondary school or equivalent GED and experience working with school age children in behavior treatment approaches and working with children with Autism in an educational or organized learning environment. Incumbents must meet requirements specified under every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). S
