Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic band, choir and drama teacher to build our fine arts program. We are a private, Christian school in the Sacramento/Elk Grove area. Our best candidate would be open to teaching elementary, middle and high school bands and choirs, as well as possibly teaching some drama at the middle and high school level. Candidates with experience teaching these subjects are highly sought. A single-subject music credential is not necessary but would be a plus. Because we are a Christian school, we desire to nurture the students academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
WORK YEAR:
BCS has approximately 180 teaching days. Teachers arrive two weeks before the students arrive on campus, planning, preparing and training. There are various workdays throughout the year which result in a teaching contract of 194 (approximate) workdays beginning in August and ending in early June.
