Job Summary
Woodlake High School: Grades 9-12 The Spring Assistant Coach works under the direction of the Athletic Director. Coach is responsible for establishing and maintaining a strength and conditioning program for all sports, with three major goals of improving athletic performance reducing athletic injuries, and teaching lifelong fitness and movement skills. Will meet regularly with sports coaches to determine what the athletes need to work on. If working with an injured athlete engaged in rehabilitation, the coaches will consult with the athletic trainer. Maintain ongoing communication with the Athletic Director regarding developments. Perform other duties assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Three years experience in creating and implementing strength training for athletic teams; • Valid CPR, First Aid, Concussion, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and Coaching certifications or willing to obtain; • Valid CA driver’s license and proof of auto insurance; • Experience coaching and knowledge of sport and rules; • Fingerprint clearance prior to beginning work; • T.B. clearance prior to beginning work.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (valid CPR, First Aid, Concussion, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Heat Acclimatization, and Coaching certifications or willing to obtain)
- Driver's License Copy (and proof of auto insurance)
- Letter of Introduction
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (requires three letters of recommendation)
- Proof of HS Graduation (or equivalent)
