Job Summary
Twin Ridges Home Study Charter School is seeking a knowledgeable and patient Academic Tutor to schedule tutoring sessions and provide personalized instructional support to students in grades K-8. The tutor will assess student's strengths and areas for improvement using assessments given by teachers. The Academic Tutor may need to assign weekly practice for students as appropriate. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills with parents and students, subject matter expertise, and a passion for education.

Ability to work with children, to work cooperatively with colleagues, to provide an educational program for pupils in grade taught, to instruct students in the course of study adopted by the Council, to facilitate student development, to provide pupil motivation, to establish and maintain student behavior standards, and evaluate student progress. The candidate will have the desire and ability to teach in a “whole child” approach.
4.5 day.
Patience, punctuality, conscientious work, dependability. Waldrf experience or training dedired. Successful applicant muct agree to background check and fingerprinting, as well as TB test.
