Requirements / Qualifications

Education: - Authorization to teach English learners. - Advanced course work and/or training in subject matter content, core and intervention curriculum, assessment, and instructional strategies specific to the duties of the job preferred. (i.e. Reading Masters, Second Language Acquisition Masters, Math Masters, Science Masters, STEM, etc.) Experience: - Five years of successful teaching experience. - High level of understanding of assessments and analysis and application of data. - Experience working with groups in curriculum development or related fields. - Experience in planning and delivering professional development activities. - Experience in site/teacher leadership roles (i.e., grade/department lead, BTSA support provider, leadership teams, etc.) Requirements: - Clear and valid California Teaching Credential. - Authorization to teach English learners. - Valid California Drivers’ License - CPR Certification (Does not apply if you hold a valid Clear or Preliminary Credential)
