Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Chief Academic Officer, the Director of State and Federal Programs maintains compliance with all federal and state rules, laws, and regulations; monitors all relevant state and categorical budgets; and evaluates the effectiveness of categorical, state and local programs; coordinates all parent and family engagement activities; coordinates all aspects of the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP); and serves as a member of the District Instructional Cabinet. Advises senior staff on opportunities for strategic plans, execution and implementation for such programs. Plans assignments, organizes workflow and coaches staff on best practices to improve efficiency.

Requirements / Qualifications

POSITION AVAILABLE: DIRECTOR OF STATE AND FEDERAL PROGRAMS QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Master Degree required. 2. Valid California Administrative Service Credential or Teaching Credential preferred. 3. Minimum of three (3) years successful site principal experience preferred. 4. Three (3) years of supervisory and/or administrative experience with federal funds including a focus on Federal Programs required. 5. Knowledge of federal and state accountability systems. 6. Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and the public from diverse cultural, social, economic, and educational backgrounds.
