Requirements / Qualifications
Required Education and Experience Education: A bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, early childhood development, education leadership, or a field closely related to the job requirements of this classification from an institution of higher learning accredited by a regional accrediting organization recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Experience: Five years of experience in overseeing and managing state and federal grant funded projects for early learning programs, including two years of experience in a supervisory capacity. Additional Requirements: A CPIN Authorized Trainer Certificate is required. A valid California driver’s license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to provide transportation between job sites is required. Hybrid remote schedules may be available. To ensure the health and safety of its staff, LACOE may require employees to provide evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19.
