Welcome to Amador County Public Schools! Our unified P-12 district serves about 4,000 students and consists of the Amador County Unified School District and the Amador County Office of Education. Credential - One of the following 7 credentials: Clinical or Rehabilitative Services--Language, Speech & Hearing Speech-Language Pathology Services--Language, Speech & Hearing Special Secondary - Correction of Speech Defects Exceptional Children - Speech Correction and Lip Reading Teaching Credential with Minor - Speech and Hearing Handicapped Restricted Special Education - Speech and Hearing Therapy Limited Specialized Preparation - Speech and Hearing Handicapped

The ACOE ALLOWS YEAR FOR YEAR EXPERIENCE CREDIT WHEN PLACING EMPLOYEES ON THE SALARY SCHEDULE. Experience must be fulltime, contracted work & over 75% of each school year to qualify (substitute work does not qualify).
Full time employees are required to enroll in a benefits package as part of total compensation (see www.amadorcoe.org website, Department, Business, then Benefits for plan details and rates).
We pay 100% of the induction costs for our new teachers.
Current clear TB Test and DOJ fingerprinting at Amador County Office of Education for the hired candidate will be required.
