Job Summary

Job Summary

The School Counseling or Social Work Intern will be supervised by a credentialed School Counselor or LCSW who has a minimum of three years of full-time experience as a practicing School Counselor. Possibility of placement at preschool, elementary, middle school, high school, and adult transition programs based on intern requirements and availability. Requirements / Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled in a Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPS) Program in School Counseling or Master of Social Work or hold a CA Internship Credential (PPS) or a letter from college/university indicating eligibility in lieu of a credential See the list of required supporting documents below:

  • Copy of Transcript (Unofficial transcripts showing BA/BS degree & all graduate coursework)
  • Letter of Introduction (Please include: background, three critical skills, and why you want to work in Los Al; Address letter to Ryan Weiss-Wright, Ed.D, Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources)
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Please attached two letters of recommendation)
  • Resume
