Job Summary
This is an open and promotional recruitment to establish an eligibility list. The eligibility list will be used to fill any vacancies which may occur within a period of one year or until the eligibility list is depleted. Positions in this classification typically work 8 hours per day, 6:30 am - 3pm, 12 months per year. The recruitment process will consist of a training and experience evaluation and a structured interview. BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Director of Facilities, Operations & Transportation and the Maintenance Services Supervisor, perform a variety of skilled activities in the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical and equipment and systems.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and three years of experience performing professional-level electrical installation and repair tasks for a public or private-sector organization. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver's license.
