Time 5:45 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. (2.75 hrs.) REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Proof of graduation from a California High School since 1981, and two years of college (48 units), or A. A. degree (or higher), or pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction. * Paraprofessionals who assist with classroom instruction and are hired using Title I funds after the enactment of the law (January 8, 2002) must meet the following requirements: * Complete two years of higher education study, or * Obtain an Associate’s or higher degree, or * Pass a formal state or local academic assessment that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics or reading, writing, and mathematics readiness. * CPR/CPI Certified preferred or will be trained immediately upon hire * Bilingual preferred RESPONSIBILITIES: * To supervise students on the bus to ensure their safety.
