Requirements / Qualifications
You're an excellent candidate for our Licensed Vocational Nurse position, if you have a passion for working with children, are energized by working in a fast-paced work environment, enjoy working in a team, and you possess the following qualifications and competencies: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and experience providing health services to children is desirable. Valid California certification as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse. Valid California Driver’s License. Maintain qualification for automobile insurance coverage.

Located in east San Diego County. The district is 66.3 square miles in size, and serves elementary students in grades K-8 feeding into the Grossmont Union High School District. The district has approximately 16,600 students, plus approximately 800 preschool students, with 26 schools (6 middle schools, 19 elementary schools and 1 preschool). The District is largely urban in nature with some rural areas. Regardless of what our employees’ needs are, we meet them with the personalized attention only a caring school district can provide.
