Under the direction of the Director of Special Education and Student Services/Vice Principal for Blue Ridge Academy, this employee will provide Special Education Assessments to students enrolled in Blue Ridge Academy. The Occupational Therapist serves as a member of the Blue Ridge Academy Team and will collaborate as well as consult with the team members. The Occupational Therapist will help students improve their ability to participate in desired daily school activities. The Occupational Therapist will assess students to determine if they require assistance in learning and developmental activities. The Occupational Therapist assesses students who have conditions that are mentally, physically or developmentally disabling.
