We have an exciting opportunity for a Dean of Nursing and Allied Health located at our campus in Menifee, CA. Reporting to the Vice President of Career Education, Nursing and Allied Health, the Dean of Nursing and Allied Health provides for the educational welfare of students and the professional needs of staff within the Nursing and Allied Health Programs. Working collaboratively with the faculty, staff, and instructional administrative team, and operating within established duties and responsibilities, the Dean has the responsibility and authority to make decisions on matters related to the division; plan, organize, administer, develop, and evaluate the programs, projects, and activities of assigned instructional area; supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel; and in partnership with faculty, staff and administrators, provide leadership in offering high quality educational services to the District, the community, and most importantly to our students. The Dean of Nursing and Allied Health is responsible for a variety of nursing and allied health programs, and disciplines including: Associate Degree Nursing, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Emergency Medical Services, Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide, Medical Assisting, and Medical Lab Technician. This is a management position, exempt from overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act, with responsibility for formulation and recommendation of district policies, regulations and budget decisions related to area of responsibility.

Initial placement on the salary schedule will be commensurate with education and experience, along with a cell phone allowance stipend. While this current vacancy is expected at the Menifee Valley Campus, applicants may be assigned to any district facility. Administrators serve district-wide and may be assigned to the San Jacinto Campus, the Menifee Valley Campus, the Temecula Valley Campus or any District facility. Additional openings that become available prior to the end of the hiring process may also be filled from the qualified applicants. Academic administrators serve under contract and make contributions toward STRS (a retirement plan). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1. A Master's degree; (attach transcript) AND 2. Three years of professional experience as an administrator overseeing nursing and allied health programs; or in a hospital administration; AND 3. One (1) year of formal training, internship, or leadership experience reasonably related to the administrator's assignment; AND 4. Current Registered Nurse license, AND 5. Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff ***Before scanning attachments, remove/redact sensitive, confidential information such as date of birth, social security number, address and photograph***
