Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution. A Master's degree in education, counseling, or a related field from an accredited educational institution is required. Must possess and maintain a valid Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPS) school counseling or a valid teaching credential. Administrative Services Credential is preferred. A minimum of three years of employment in the field of teaching or school counseling working with school-age children.

In addition to the EdJoin application, a letter of intent, a minimum of 3 letters of recommendation, all written within one year, and a resume are required.

Employees working a 90+% assignment are required to take at least single coverage health insurance with the Azusa Unified School District or provide proof of coverage through another group plan. The Governing Board desires to provide a positive work environment where employees and job applicants are free from harassment and are assured of equal access and opportunities in accordance with Law.
