Under the general direction of the Director, Principal, the Nurse plans and provides certain identified health services in connection with the Early Intervention Infant Program for developmentally delayed and low incidence infants and toddlers.
Requirements / Qualifications
CREDENTIAL & EXPERIENCE: • Valid Registered Nurse in the State of California - Required • Valid California School Nurse Services Credential or be eligible for a Preliminary School Nurse Services Credential at time of hire- Preferred • Public Health Nurse Certificate- Preferred • California School Audiometrist Certificate- Preferred • Spanish Bilingual- Preferred • Valid CPR & 1st Aid Certification -Required • Valid State of California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record - Required • Experience working with pregnant and parenting teens • Experience working with infants/toddlers with special needs • Knowledge of disabilities of physically and neurologically handicapped infants and toddlers • Experience to analyze situations and implement effective solutions, incorporate medical recommendations into daily practice, prepare accurate reports, and have effective oral and written communication.
WORK DAY: Up to 7.25 hours/day (Flexible) LOCATION: Various locations in Alameda County APPLICATION DEADLINE: APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED CONTINUOUSLY (Applications will be discarded after 6 months.)
