Lodi High School Temporary Athletic Supervision/Coaching positions for the 2025-2026 (Girls Water Polo) at Lodi Unified
Requirements / Qualifications
FALL SPORTS: Water Polo- Girls Requirements at time of application: Coaching theory and techniques in the sport or game being coached, as evidenced by one of more of the following:
- Completion of a college course in coaching theory and techniques
- Completion of in-service programs arranged by a school district or county office of education
- Prior service as a student coach or assistant athletic coach in the sport or game being coached
- Prior coaching in the community youth athletic programs in the sport to be coached
- Prior participation in organized competitive athletics at the high school level or above in the sport to be coached
Knowledge of child or adolescent psychology as it relates to sports participation as evidenced by one or more of the following:
- Completion of a college-level course in adolescent or sports psychology
- Completion of a seminar or workshop on human growth and development of youth
- Prior active involvement with youth in a school or community sports program
Requirements prior to supervising students:
- Fingerprint Clearance
- TB Clearance
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Authorization
- NFHS Concussion Course
- NFHS Sudden Cardiac Awareness Course
- NFHS Heat Illness Course
Requirements within one year of appointment:
- • NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching

The Lodi Unified School District makes this offering for the above listed coaching position(s) with the understanding that the district is required, pursuant to Education Code section 44919, to solicit applicants among district teaching staff and to give preference to any teacher who applies for the position and meets the qualifications established by the school district.
Please note that coaches that have served in the assignments during the past school year may also be applying to be rehired for the new school year as well.
