JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Advancement Associate & Events Coordinator is a key member of the advancement team and supports all aspects of fundraising, and reports directly to the Director of Advancement. This role coordinates advancement operations, manages donation administration, and leverages the donor database Raiser’s Edge NXT to cultivate and steward donor relations. A DAY-IN-THE-LIFE / DAILY DUTIES This role provides critical support to the Advancement department. Key responsibilities include assisting in the planning and execution of all fundraising events, such as annual galas, golf events, and alumni gatherings. This involves managing event logistics, including guest lists, invitations, registration, and follow-up. Furthermore, this position focuses on cultivating strong donor relationships. Duties include tracking donor giving history, preparing and distributing acknowledgement letters and receipts, and managing all donor data. The Associate will also handle, track, and report on all donations, ensuring accurate records of all financial transactions. Additionally, this role encompasses various administrative and communication tasks. These include maintaining all PR/marketing materials, managing mailing lists, and preparing and distributing reports related to fundraising. The Associate will also maintain accurate records, and assist with other projects and duties as needed. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience managing and enhancing use of Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge NXT donor database. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, mail mergers, aggregation and reporting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with One Cause Mobile Bidding Software and Canva. Project management experience. S
