As a Moderate/Severe Special Day Class (SDC) Teacher in TVUSD, you will provide specialized instruction and support to students with significant cognitive, physical, and/or behavioral disabilities. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing individualized education plans, collaborating with support staff and therapists, and creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and development for each student.

Designated Case Management Time and Stipends: 

TK-5th Grade SDC teachers are eligible to use up to five (5) case management release days per year (or $750.00 cash lieu) AND $750.00 annual stipend

 

Requirements / Qualifications

Valid CA or out of state appropriate Special Education Moderate/Severe Credential required. English Language Authorization ELA1, ELAE, CLAD or CCSD/SDAIE required. Autism (AAAS) authorization required.
