Adventure Academy (ADVA) CORE is an extension of the Adventure Academy academic program. ADVA CORE offers standards-based, grade-level classes, in core subjects. ADVA CORE classes are designed to support learning coaches in meeting the academic, social, and developmental needs of students. The ADVA CORE program consists of semester-long classes in reading, writing, and mathematics. Each ADVA CORE class is offered virtually, two to three days per week for 45 minutes per class meeting. ADVA CORE Teachers will be responsible for teaching a minimum of three and a maximum of four virtual classes for their assigned grade level(s) or content areas. Each class will meet live, on Zoom, two to three times per week.
