Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Special Education/Student Supports and the immediate supervision of the Principal, the Special Day Class (SDC) Moderate/Severe (M/S) Teacher provides instruction, assessment, and program planning for special education students with moderate to severe disabilities; adheres to all legal components of the Individual Education Plan (IEP); monitors and evaluates student progress and behavior; researches, obtains, and provides instructional materials for special education services; serves as an informational resource for students, parents, site and District personnel, and community organizations; works within a self-contained classroom; and develops mainstreaming opportunities for students.

Full-time position includes District paid health, dental, and vision insurance up to a $16,075 district contribution.
