Faith Chapel Learning Academy is centrally located in Spring Valley, serving all families around San Diego county. Our focus is centered around teaching children who God is and how much he loves them – all while they explore reading, physical education, art, music and science. We offer a comprehensive curriculum that is designed to give your child more. Our Learning to Read program will introduce your children to the basic fundamentals of reading. Our teachers will work with each student individually at their own pace in order to make reading a success. Main Responsibilities Include: Maintaining safety and ensuring the welfare of all enrolled children, supervision of children during all activities, indoors and outdoors. Assist in implementing plans specified by teacher/associate teacher concerning daily/weekly schedule, individual and group activities for children, lesson plans, room arrangements and learning centers. Assist in setting up the learning environment by preparing materials and learning areas, participate in or guide activities for the social, emotional, physical and intellectual development of children. Perform housekeeping duties relating to the Center environment and furnishings, i.e.: cleaning tables, washing dishes, sweeping, putting down cots, cleaning cubbies, chairs and cots. Interact, initiate, and encourage the children’s activities during the day. Willing to engage in professional development. Ability to lift 40 lbs. Other responsibilities as assigned.
