The Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) is made up of 44 schools serving preschool-12th grade with approximately 33,000 students in grades TK-12. The District Office hosts twenty-three district level departments that serve the school sites. School sites feature many facility upgrades with vibrant libraries due to the community support of the Measure E bond. Requirements / Qualifications
ALL TEACHERS must include resume and cover letter. 2 Letters of Recommendations (within 2 years of application date), at least one from administrator or supervisor. Copies of ALL transcripts noting BA Degree (foreign transcripts have been evaluated for US equivalency by a CTC approved agency). FULLY CREDENTIALED TEACHERS must include either • scan or photo of their credential showing the subject and EL authorization (i.e. BCLAD, CLAD, ELA1, ELAE, ELAM, ELAS, etc.) • or a screenshot of the CTC website showing their credential, subject, and EL authorization (i.e. BCLAD, CLAD, ELA1, ELAE, ELAM, ELAS, etc.) INTERN ELIGIBLE TEACHERS by July 11, 2025 must include a letter of appeasement or letter of intern eligibility from their university. TEACHERS WITH A BACHELOR’S DEGREE INTERESTED IN AN EMERGENCY PERMIT must include copies of ALL transcripts noting BA Degree (foreign transcripts have been evaluated for US equivalency by a CTC approved agency), and CSET.

The following employment procedures will be followed:
1. Hiring staff review applications on file of those who possess the appropriate credential for the assignment.
2. Applicants for the specific assignments will be contacted for a scheduled interview.
3. Hiring staff will recommend candidates to Human Resources.
4. Human Resources staff will offer contracts after review of applicant's qualifications.
5. Applicants will report to Human Resources to complete employment papers, sign contract, and receive authorization documents to report to work.
