In consideration of the ideal candidate to serve as Principal of San Miguel Elementary, we seek someone who has a genuine interest in the Mark West Union School District and San Miguel Elementary; someone who is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing San Miguel’s established culture of safety, productivity, kindness and inclusivity where all educational partners feel valued. The ideal candidate will be visible on campus; regularly visiting classrooms and engaging with students and staff and will be an active supporter of after school events and events sponsored by parent support organizations. The Principal of San Miguel Elementary will be a positive, productive colleague who thrives as a “team player” and fosters collaboration within the school and the district; a leader that celebrates successes while remaining steadfast in their commitment to addressing challenges with transparency and determination.

Letter of Introduction Resume 3 Current Letters of Recommendation (within two years) REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree Valid California Teaching Credential Valid California Administrative Services Credential Minimum of 3 years successfully serving in a full-time educational administrative capacity, preferably as a school principal DESIRABLE: Biliterate (English/Spanish) Master's Degree **Incomplete packets will not be considered
