Job Summary

Tierra Bonita Elementary School (TBES) is looking for a credentialed teacher to lead a TK classroom for the 2024-2025 school year.

Requirements / Qualifications

TBES may contact applicants directly for interviews. CREDENTIALS REQUIRED: A valid California Multiple Subjects Credential or other valid California teaching credential authorizing teaching in the assignment. In addition, credentialed teachers must have one of the following by August 1, 2025: - Child Development Teacher Permit - At least 24 units in Child Development and/or Early Childhood Education - Professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children comparable tot he 24 units of education described in bullet 2 (comparability determined by the local employing agency) For more information regarding these requirements, go to: https://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/assignment-resources/transitional-kindergarten

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: All required documents MUST be scanned and attached prior to submitting an application for this position. Incomplete applications will not be considered. 1. Applicants must have an English Learner authorization in order to be considered for the position. 2. Copy of California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential or other valid California teaching credential authorizing teaching in the assignment. 3. Copy of Child Development Permit - Teacher Level or higher (if applicable), if applicable. 4. Copy of Transcript (Official transcripts are required upon hiring); if qualifying with CD or ECE units, the transcripts must show the 24 units. 4. Current resume 5. Letter of introduction, addressed to Ricardo Ceceña, Director, Human Resources. 6. Three (3) letters of reference, signed/dated within the past 12 months. Applicants are encouraged to include at least one (1) letter of reference from a supervising or site administrator.
