CERTIFICATED VACANCY FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR: Adaptive Physical Education Teacher SALARY - Based on 184 work days $53,647 - $111,715 Master Degree Stipend - $1,500.00 Doctorate Degree Stipend - $1,500.00 Applicant MUST POSSESS a valid California Teaching Credential authorizing service in the assignment, including CLAD certification. Documentation of these requirements MUST accompany the application. Applications must be submitted through the EdJoin website at www.edjoin.org. Application material must include: EdJoin application, cover letter, resume, credential(s) and (3) letters of recommendation or placement file. **Special Qualifications including knowledge and abilities** Knowledge of: - Adaptive physical education State guidelines, regulations, laws, policies and procedures. - Curriculum and lesson plan development to meet IEP or other educational goals. Ability to: - Understand and relate to children with special needs. - Prepare lesson plans and instruct students in individual and group activities. PROCEDURE: The selection process will include an appraisal of individual applications and personal resumes. Candidates receiving the highest ratings will be selected for interview.
