Los Angeles Charter School seeking excellent, experienced social studies teachers. Academia Avance has a school culture unlike any other. We specialize in meeting student social-emotional needs and building strong relationships between students and adults as well as interpersonally. We have low student to teacher ratios, multiple prep periods each day, and a competitive salary. We are seeking highly qualified Science teachers to build strong conceptual understanding of grade 6-8 Science rooted in the NGSS. Academia Avance is looking for teachers in the following content areas: ELA, Math, Science (Earth, Life, Physical), Social Sciences, and Physical Education. Candidates can posses either a Multiple Subject Credential or Single Subject (Single Subjects candidates must have valid credential in the content of interest).
