Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent or designee, the Technology and English Learner Support Specialist provides support to English Learners (EL) to make adequate progress towards English language proficiency; the role involves providing direct academic assistance to students, fostering family engagement in EL education, administering language assessments, and collaborating with teachers and after-school staff to support English Learners; assist the Lead Tech Specialist in developing planning and coordinating student information and system programs; performs technical duties involved in the operation, maintenance, modification and repair of District computers and related software.
