POSITION: Adult Secondary High School Diploma Teacher 2024-2025 # OF POSITIONS: One (1) LOCATION: VALLEY ADULT CAMPUS HOURS/DAYS: 15 Hrs. per week (Morning Hours) SALARY: Hourly Rate: Year 1: $41.09/hr Year 2+ $52.08/hr EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Non-Bargaining Unit Position Note: This position is subject to change or cancellation based on the availability of Categorical Adult Funds and Enrollment.

Teaching Responsibilities: 1. Teach High School Subjects 2. Offer individualized tutoring to students particpating in the HSD Program in-person and via Zoom. 3. Responsible for Student Orientation 4. Administer progress standardized Adult Ed. assessments 5. Provide individualized assistance in the development of literacy and numeracy skills of adult learners. 6. Evaluate academic growth of students and report to the department lead 7. Report attendance in a timely manner using web-based attendance system 8. Assess and give students timely, high quality feedback 9. Willing to attend PLC planning meetings and professional development activities (compesated as extraduty) 10. Complete and submit all required data and accountability documentation in a timely manner. Desired Qualifications ? Experience in independent study delivering instruction. ? Ability to engage and support all learners, and to motivate them to persist. ? Flexibility to meet needs of learners is required. ? Willing to use technology and on-line learning in a blended educational model ? Ability to work with teachers, staff, and administrators in a collaborative, productive, and supportive manner.
