Ballington Academy is a Public Charter School Educating Students from Transitional Kindergarten to Grade Six. We Offer an Innovative Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) Curriculum for all Grades Using a Hands-on Project-Based Learning Approach, Teaching Real-World, 21st Century Skills. We are seeking a caring individual to help support our Students and Teachers in El Centro, CA. The Elementary Charter School Principal, under the direction of the Superintendent will serve as the instructional leader of the school and lead day to day administrator. The primary responsibilities are the academic outcomes and establishing a college-ready culture for Ballington Academy in alignment with the mission and academic model.

Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in education, liberal arts, or related field. Master's Degree preferred. Clear California Teaching Credential and California Administrative Credential. Minimum of 3 years administrator experience.  Previous experience in an elementary charter school or district leadership position. In depth knowledge of project-based instruction Knowledge of common core curriculum, standards and effective teaching practices. Ability to establish a school climate and implement school vision. Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish proficiently is strongly preferred.
