Job Summary

OCEAA seeks 4 dynamic, organized, and innovative individuals to lead four conservatories in Voice, Music (instruments), Drama (Theater), and Visual Art (Production Design). This role, supported by Proposition 28 funding, will include age-appropriate curriculum development for students TK to 8, and creative, rigorous, and supportive daily teaching. Conservatory teachers will also support performances outside of school hours through production and operations, will develop community engagement initiatives, and will collaborate as the arts team to develop opportunities for students to perform at assemblies and larger events throughout the community. This position requires creative and self motivated individuals to have expertise in arts instruction, project management, curriculum development, and a commitment to providing equitable access to high-quality arts education that values diversity, cultural representation, and social justice.
