Substitute Teacher at Arcadia Unified School District
Requirements / Qualifications

We are seeking to hire 30 substitute teachers and encourage you to apply early! Interviews are tentatively scheduled for the first week of February. All interview invitations will be sent via email, so please monitor your inbox after submitting your application. If selected for an interview, you will receive a link to SELF-SCHEDULE your interview. Once all interview slots are filled, we will no longer accept additional candidates. This posting will close either when we reach the desired number of interview candidates or by the specified closing date, whichever comes first. Please be aware that if we receive a high volume of applications from credentialed or permitted candidates, we may not consider applicants who do not hold a valid permit or credential due to the hiring hierarchy as outlined on the CTC website https://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/assignment-resources/hiring-hierarchy. **IMPORTANT INFORMATION**
Upon hire, you will be required to reimburse the school district by money order for your fingerprinting costs. This fee is currently $52.00.
You are required to Fingerprint for Arcadia Unified School District if you have never been fingerprinted for Arcadia Unified for employment before.
You are required to obtain TB clearance within 60 days before your hire date.
You are required to complete anti-harassment and mandated reporter training before your hire date.
Our expectation is that you will be "available" to sub Monday through Friday.
