Job Summary
The Fiscal Services Analyst under the supervision of the Accounting Manager or designee, performs complex technical work involving: program budget control and analysis; position control maintenance; salary and medical benefits budget maintenance; and completion of various reports for management and for county, state, and federal government. May be responsible for functions such as project accounting, general ledger maintenance, accounts receivables, compilation of fiscal data, and preparation of reports leading to reimbursement for services. Assists departments and sites with program and district-wide budget development. Serves as a lead level of the Fiscal Service Technician series.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to: ** Reviews Vendor Requisitions, Accounts Payable, Cash Receipts, Journal Entries and Payroll Registers for accuracy and correct Budget Accounts. ** Assists in the monitoring of restricted resources and initiates budget transfers, as needed. ** Assists in processing journal entries and budget transfers for the organization’s budget, as needed. ** Manages accounts receivable for Higher Education tuition, works with students and districts. ** Assists with the reconciliation and compiling of expenditure and quarterly reports. ** Maintains Compliance Documents (A. NPS Certificates (Nonpublic, Nonsectarian School) for NPA’s (Nonpublic, Nonsectarian Agency); B. Federal Time Certifications) ** Assists in development and implementation of Asset records in the financial system ** Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers with all aspects of the department: training, purchasing, payroll, general dept questions. ** Cross-trained in both AP and Payroll to step-in and assist with processing as needed. ** Support the Department Manager and Director with site and department-based training as needed. ** Records monthly transactions on monthly bank statements, as directed. ** Reconcile and submit monthly company credit card statements. ** Update weekly Fortune Preschool Financial Report. ** Support organization in the approval and management of the Amazon Business Account. Education and Experience: ** Education: Formal and informal education at a level sufficient to provide the ability to understand and perform duties comparable in complexity to those listed herein Training and Experience: ** Progressively responsible complex clerical work experience preferably with experience in the personnel office of a school district or other governmental agency.
