THIS IS NOT A WORK REMOTE POSITION Job Title: Summer School Credit Recovery Teacher Job Description: We are seeking an organized and supportive teacher to oversee virtual curriculum, conduct in-person assessments, and case manage students participating in the 2025 summer school credit recovery program. This in-person, on-campus position involves working 4 days per week from June 16 to July 18, 2025, with hours from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The teacher will maintain an open classroom where students can complete coursework, receive support, and work toward timely credit recovery. Staff will also participate in 3 professional development days prior to the program, from June 10-12, 2025. Key Details: Schedule: 4 days a week for 5 weeks, June 16 - July 18, 2025. Hours: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Preparation: 3 paid professional development days, June 10-12, 2025. Responsibilities: Provide an open classroom environment for students to work on virtual credit recovery coursework. Offer instructional support and guidance to help students navigate their courses. Administer in-person assessments to ensure course requirements are met. Case manage assigned students by tracking progress, addressing challenges, and providing timely interventions. Communicate regularly with students, families, and educational partners to support course completion. Collaborate with school staff to address barriers and promote student success. Participate in professional development days to prepare for the summer school program. Qualifications: Valid teaching credential. Experience with virtual curriculum and credit recovery programs preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and case management skills.
