Job Summary
Job Summary
Serves as chief executive officer of the school; shall be responsible for implementing the policies, rules and regulations of the Board of Trustees; provides school-wide leadership in planning, recommending, developing, achieving and evaluating the best possible educational programs and services. Serves as director of the Special Education program; Supervises and/or evaluates certificated and classified staff; directs the instructional program, operation of the school plant, participates in staff and student activities and community leadership.

A charter school has been established in the district in an attempt to expand student educational options. A new facilities plan has been completed in recent years and is at the State Department for funding. The district has grown by over 30% since 2016. The district received an approved Bond in 2020 in the amount of $5.2 Million to increase its facilities, specifically to get a new multi-purpose room; Architecture plans which have been secured with construction are tentatively scheduled to begin Spring of 2026. Roberts Ferry is committed to continuous improvement. We actively seek innovative approaches to education and provide ongoing professional development opportunities for our staff to enhance their teaching and leadership skills.
