Job Description: 3-5 Summer School Teacher Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic teachers to lead engaging summer school classes for students in grades 3-5. The summer school program is designed to support student learning and growth through targeted instruction and enriching activities. Key Details: Schedule: 4 days a week for 5 weeks, June 16 - July 18, 2025. Hours: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (including student arrival/dismissal). Preparation: 3 professional learning days the week before summer school begins 06/10/2025 - 06/12/2025 Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality, standards-based instruction tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to align instructional goals and strategies. Qualifications: Valid teaching credential (preferably for elementary grades). Experience working with students in grades 3-5, especially in small group or intervention settings, is preferred. Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to creating a supportive learning environment. Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a passion for helping students succeed.
