Job Summary
Under the direction of the Principal or designee, the Substitute Teacher provides instruction, supervision, and training of individuals or groups of students in a school setting. Job activities include instruction of students in a variety of education environments including classrooms, learning centers, and other facilities.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance - Tuberculosis clearance - Satisfy the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) Basic Skills Requirement (can be achieved through college grades of B or better in English, reading, writing and math) - Possess or have the ability to possess a CTC credential, Emergency 30-day Substitute Teaching Permit or Prospective Substitute (90 semester college credits and current college enrollment)
