Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director-Transportation, coordinate and evaluate the classroom and behind the wheel training program; develop routes for students and approve route sheets; drive a school bus to transport students safely and efficiently to assigned locations on a designated route; oversee and perform regular safety inspections.

Qualifications: Education and Experience: • Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and five years of experience driving a school bus. Licenses and other Requirements • Valid unrestricted California Class A or B driver’s license with appropriate passenger and air brake endorsements. • Valid State Bus Driver Instructor Certificate. • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates issued by an authorized agency. • Valid School Bus Operator’s Certificate issued by the California Highway Patrol. • Valid medical card. District paid medical, dental, and vision prescription plans are provided for employee and dependents.
