Job Summary
Under general supervision, keeps an assigned building area clean, sanitary, safe, and orderly; secures rooms and buildings; and performs related work as required. Positions in this class are under the supervision of the Maintenance and Operations Supervisor. Incumbents are responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of areas assigned. Includes supervision over Custodian I and Custodian Helper.

Hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
Salary Range (13): $ 23.01 to $ 31.49 per hour**
**EXPERIENCE CREDIT: A maximum of two (2) years may be granted for experience outside of the Beaumont Unified School District. Therefore, an external new hire's maximum starting salary for this classification is $ 24.88 per hour (Range 13/Step 3).
Other requirements include three years of experience in cleaning and maintaining building areas. See attached job description for further information.
